Only a few plantations still produce orthodox tea qualities in Kenya. Located in the Kericho region in the west of the Rift Valley, 600 feet above sea level, this is the best grade still available. A fine medium sized whole leaf with some golden tips, medium to full bodied in cup, a dark brown liquor comparable with Yunnan teas, and the same spicy, slightly smoky flavor and taste on the finish.
